Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Released in November 2019 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and later for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in June 2021, the game is set in the Star Wars universe five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Players control Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan hunted by the Galactic Empire and its Inquisitors, as he attempts to complete his Jedi training, reconcile with his past, and rebuild the fallen Jedi Order.
The gameplay features a third-person perspective, allowing players to use Cal's lightsaber and Force powers to defeat enemies, including stormtroopers, wild beasts, and bounty hunters. The game adopts a Metroidvania style of level design, where new areas are accessed as Cal unlocks skills and abilities. Key features include the ability to deflect blaster fire, execute enemies, and use various Force powers such as force slow, wall-run, and force-push.
